◆ Hatgadh fort÷ At a distance of 5kms on the outskirts of Saputara is the Magnificent Hatgadh fort built by Shivaji Maharaj. This fort though not maintained through ages is a dilapidated one but would surely enchant you throughout the trek.
◆ Saputara Museum÷ A small museum maintained by the Gujarat tourism committee has many paintings, sculptures, pictures of early men and women working and models depicting their crude culture and traditions.

◆ Vasanda National park÷ A deciduous forest covering an area of about 24sq.km is a home for many endangered species of flora and fauna. Have a walk along the thick canopy of trees,and stimulating aroma of beautiful flowers and damp soil.
Here,some trees are so thick that sunrays also wouldn't penetrate through them. It is believed that the trees here are of ancient era and no tree has ever been cut in this forest. Endangered species include Indian leopard, four horned antelope, hyena, flying squirrel and many more. Also many snakes, reptiles and colorful butterflies have taken shelter here.
