Coastal Beauty of India - Goa

Goa, Goa

I was super exited when my colleagues told about goa trip. Trip was in summer season, actually it was wrong choice because its soo hot.But we all enjoyed.I heard most of the people used to tell at least once in life should visit goa, yes its true.

Let us know a brief about Goa

Goa is a state in western India with coastlines stretching along the Arabian Sea. Its long history as a Portuguese colony prior to 1961 is evident in its preserved 17th-century churches and the area’s tropical spice plantations. Goa is also known for its beaches, ranging from popular stretches at Baga and Palolem to those in laid-back fishing villages such as Agonda.

To our trip,So we started our goa trip from Pune railway station by evening, as our trip was like almost night we missed so many spots on the way to goa like Dudhsagar Falls.

By morning we reached goa vasco da gama railway station, and we all were hungry, we decided to have breakfast. For the first time in life i had breakfast without brushing (after childhood) i dont know about others ;). Next task was to get a vehicle to hotel, it was little bit difficult to get, so we traveled by bus again it was fun. Finally reached at hotel (dont remember the hotel name) and done the formalities, and all fresh up and we started out unforgettable goa days.

We got two wheeler for travel,it charge us 250 Rs per day.It is good thing they are providing two wheeler.

Next we went to “Fort Aguda” . The Fort Aguada was built by the Portuguese to control the entry of the enemy into River Mandovi and to protect Goa from attacks. As the name suggests, it was a place for providing ‘aqua’ to the ships at anchor. Fort is surrounded by sea on one of its side and the other sides have huge trenches . It has open space in the middle by huge walls. The view of the sea from the fort was awesome. The lighthouse was also visible.

Next, “candolim beach” we reached by evening its best time to go in beach by evening we can see beautiful sun set,sun was shining really bright. We spent some time in sea, being in the sea is always fun.

After that we went to have dinner, nice mouth watering fish fries ;).

Next day we had breakfast and started. When we go to visit some places we have to do shopping right,So we though of doing some shopping, a small goa shopping,

Next "calangute beach" we reach there by noon,i was not interested, so i decided to sit back and enjoy the views, refreshment. There we saw tattoos, so we though of doing, i choose butterfly, done it on my hand, it was so nice and cost was also good, but they told it will stay around a month, it was not there for more than a week.
